Piano Services

Standard Tuning - $145
Bring the pitch to A=440hz and tune the piano. This service is recommended every six months or yearly to keep the piano at pitch and sounding it's best. Included are other repairs and improvements made within the hour and 45 minute appointment.                                                    Click Here to self-schedule online!

The "It's Been a While" Tuning - $210
If you haven't had your piano tuned in the past 5 years, this option is for you. This covers an extra hour of work, providing extra time for a pitch raise and to correct any issues that may have developed over time. If your piano is unserviceable or deemed too risky, you will be charged an inspection fee.

Spirio Calibration Service - $250
This service includes cleaning the solenoid system, adjusting solenoid heights, calibrating and adjusting pedals, fixing system errors, and completing a system calibration. The Steinway Spirio system is an amazing feat of engineering, and it needs a well calibrated system and well regulated piano to function at its best.

Grand Piano Dusting - $75
Remove the dust under the strings, vacuum, and wipe down the piano for an hour in addition to tuning.
                                                                    
Inspection - $80

Full Day Rate - $430
Day rates apply to key rebushing (1 day), damper felt replacement and regulation (1-2 days), action rebuilding (3-5 days), and regulation (1-3 days with hammer shaping).
                                                                    
Voicing - $75
Even out the tone of the piano and/or adjust the sound to make it more mellow, according to your preference. Piano must be in tune and be in reasonable regulation. I can also brighten up the piano with hammer shaping or adding lacquer to hammers, but that would be a different service based on the needs of the piano.
                                                                   
Replace string - $75-100 per string
Replace and tune a broken string. Includes a service within one month to adjust the string's pitch after it has naturally stretched.

Pianodisc Calibration/Diagnostic - $145
Calibrate, diagnose, and repair a Pianodisc player system. I recommend recalibrating and removing dust from the system at least once every two years. I can also upgrade your piano to the latest Prodigy system.
